Hi, I’m Kate (Kubsie), the human behind Kubsie’s Canines.

I started Kubsie’s Canines in 2023, born from a lifelong love of animals and an intuitive, respectful way of being beside them. From a young age, I’ve been drawn not just to animals themselves, but to understanding them: how they communicate, what they need to feel safe, and how we as humans can better advocate for their wellbeing.

I studied Animal Management at Writtle University College, where I gained hands-on experience caring for a wide range of animals including farm animals, rodents, birds, reptiles, as well as dogs and cats. I’ve also completed Level 2 Dog Grooming.

Now I’m studying towards becoming a Professional Dog Trainer, continuing to deepen my understanding of canine behaviour, communication, and relationship-based care.

Based in the UK and travelling nationwide, I offer sitting, walking, training support and in-home care. Above all, I bring presence, patience, and genuine affection to every animal I look after. I take the time to get to know each animal as an individual and care for them as if they were my own, so you can feel confident they’re safe, understood, and loved while you’re away.
